Sale of Assets from the Bankruptcy Estate of Stayble Therapeutics AB – Expression of Interest Regarding Patents and Clinical Data Related to STA363
Stayble Therapeutics AB, reg. no. 559024-8372 (the ”Company”), was declared bankrupt by the Gothenburg District Court on June 2, 2026. Attorney-at-law Patric Lundin has been appointed as bankruptcy trustee. The undersigned is assisting the bankruptcy trustee in the administration of the bankruptcy estate.
The purpose of this letter is to explore your potential interest in acquiring the Company’s intellectual property assets, including patents, patent applications, clinical study data and regulatory documentation related to the drug candidate STA363. In addition, certain former key employees of the Company may be available and willing to continue their engagement under a new owner, which could facilitate a seamless transition and continued development of STA363.
STA363 is a locally acting, single-injection treatment designed to address pain caused by lumbar disc herniation (LDH). The treatment is disease-modifying and aims to reduce disc volume, relieve nerve pressure and target the biological root cause of the patient’s pain. STA363 constitutes a non-surgical, second-line alternative for patients who have not responded to physiotherapy or analgesics. The drug candidate has patent protection through 2041, with potential extensions in the US and other jurisdictions until 2046.
The Company has completed a Phase 1b study in LDH (approximately 25 patients), demonstrating reduced disc volume and a favorable safety profile. In total, approximately 100 patients have been treated with STA363, with a documented strong safety and tolerability profile as well as clear efficacy signals on relevant biomarkers. At the time of the bankruptcy, the Company had achieved Phase 2b readiness, with the study protocol under finalization, API production secured and CRO agreements in place.

Following an expression of interest, the bankruptcy estate intends to provide interested parties with a bid package containing further details regarding the assets and the terms of the sale process. Access to such information will be conditional upon the prior execution of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). In addition, interested parties will be given the opportunity to direct questions to the Company’s former CEO to facilitate their evaluation of the assets.
